Cast Iron Laboratory

The required testing instruments for producing cast iron (ductile iron) castings:
1: Raw material testing: First, the raw materials are melted in the smelting furnace (about half of the furnace water), and the carbon and silicon in the raw materials are detected using a pre furnace carbon silicon analyzer (i.e. iron quality analyzer).
2: Add carbon and iron alloys in proportion, then take samples and use a direct reading spectrometer to detect the composition of molten iron.
3: After filling the furnace with molten iron, use a large screen thermometer to measure the temperature of the molten iron and take a sample.
4: If it is ductile iron, a metallographic microscope is required to test its spheroidization rate. Universal material testing machines and impact testing machines are used to test their mechanical properties. The hardness tester tests its hardness.
The testing instruments required for the production of cast iron (ductile iron) include: furnace front iron analyzer, large screen thermometer, direct reading spectrometer, universal material testing machine, impact testing machine, metallographic microscope, automatic cutting machine, automatic inlay machine, automatic grinding prototype, desktop (handheld) Brinell hardness tester.
